I was responsible for the preparation of a product roadmap for the Air Cargo business vertical. In which for the Air Cargo wallet product prepared PRD, and MVP and launched the product (0 to 1 product)

 

Goal: To introduce an additional revenue stream for the organization by expanding Air cargo

 

Problem Statement: To design and launch the Air cargo wallet product from 0 to 1 for walk-in & long tail customers 

 

Functional Requirement:

 

1. Customer self-registration module (Signup & login)

2. Wallet - Customer ( Recharge, Debit & Credit)

3. Pricing mechanism - Calculate the rate according to different attributes

4. Order orchestration panel - Panel to book the orders

 

Non- Functional Requirement: 

 

1. Consistent - At all time the system to be consistent as there are financial transactions

2. Avaliable - At all time system should be available as 24hrs the customer booking take place

3. Performance - With low latency as there are financial transactions involved 

 

MVP:

 

• Solution:

  • Created a Google sheet for order booking 

  • Operation & Sales team used for 15 days for accurate amount calc.

  • For 15 days did the business through cash deposition

• Google sheet - Link it is a sample link I have created with dummy values

• Results:

  • Demand was tested with 5lac revenue in 15 days

  • Pricing logic was tested with 50 orders with 100% correct amount

  • The expected UI was tested for order orchestration module
